Wave6 owes its vision to Greg Lewis, the co-founder and former co-CEO of Wave6’s predecessor, Emerging Solutions. Under Greg’s leadership, Emerging Solutions grew from a small IT consulting firm to a world-class organization serving midmarket and Fortune 500 clients. Emtec, Inc. purchased Emerging Solutions in 2011, and Greg remained on as CEO of Wave6.
Today, Greg sets the strategic direction for the firm while staying close to clients and employees. He brings more than 20 years of experience in business application consulting, including ERP, CRM and BI solutions across a wide variety of industries.
Greg holds a B.S. in Management with a minor in Computer Science from Purdue University. In his spare time, Greg loves mountain biking, golf, skiing, music, and most importantly, his family.
Mike currently provides strategy and direction around key go to market areas and strategic accounts for Wave6. He previously managed the firm’s consultants as the SVP, Consulting Services. Mike joined Emerging Solutions, the predecessor to Wave6, in 2010 to start the firm’s Salesforce practice. He currently manages the firm’s consultants, drives the development of methodology, tools and intellectual capital, and leads collaborative teams of clients, consultants and partners to successfully deliver solutions.
Prior to joining Wave6, Mike was responsible for delivery and sales of professional services engagements in the East and Central regions for Salesforce.com. Mike also spent 15 years with such industry-leading software and consulting firms as Oracle, Siebel Systems, A.T. Kearney and EDS.
Mike holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in Computer Science and Business Administration/Economics from Illinois College. He is a Salesforce Certified Professional with Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Developer, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud certifications.
When he’s not leading the Wave6 delivery team, Mike would rather be bass fishing.
As head of Wave6’s go-to-market strategy, Rich Rivara leads our sales, business development and marketing activities. With deep experience that includes 18 years with such professional services firms as Appirio and Fujitsu, Rich is among the best in the business at delivering the value-driven solutions and outcomes-based results that lead to deep, trusted relationships with clients of all sizes, across all industries.
Rich holds a B.A. from Northern Illinois University. When he’s not on-site with clients, he spends his time with family and friends cooking, having fun – and laughing loudly!
Shoby is responsible for managing the firms consulting and delivery teams. Prior to joining Wave6, Shoby started and managed the Salesforce Consulting and Product Development practices at 7Summits, with a focus on Community Cloud, Service Cloud and Platform development. His extensive Salesforce experience also includes Mavens Consulting, Model Metrics and Salesforce.com, where he helped partners build and deliver commercial apps on the Force.com™ platform.
Across his career, Shoby has consulted for some of the biggest brands in the world, including General Electric, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Tyco, Digital River, Boeing, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Eli Lilly.
He holds an M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, an M.S. in Software Engineering from DePaul University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a Salesforce Certified Professional with Programmer I, Developer and App Builder certifications.
Michael Jones joined Wave6 in 2013 to launch our Canadian operations and global Higher Education Practice.
Over more than 20 years, Mike has delivered software solutions and directed project management offices with such leading brands as General Electric, Nokia, Mitel Networks, CertainTeed and Armstrong World Industries. Notably, Mike founded and led MiPLAN, a consulting firm that managed Salesforce and other technology deployments for clients of all sizes.
He holds a Business Administration degree from Algonquin College School of Business as well as multiple certifications, including PMP, CNE and MCSE.
In his spare time, Mike restores antique autos and works with his family on their organic hobby farm.
Laura came to Wave6 after having served in various sales and customer service capacities for more than 17 years at telecommunications solutions provider ADC. While there, she spearheaded the company’s expansion of Salesforce services across the global organization.
With Wave6, Laura brings her extensive program and change management expertise to ensure our Project Delivery team meets the needs of every client, from big-picture challenges to in-the-weeds details.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Augustana College and has completed the sales leadership program with the College of St. Catherine. She is a Salesforce Certified Professional with Sales Consultant, Administrator, Service Consultant and Developer certifications.
